FAQs

  1. Why PostRelease?

PostRelease makes it easy to deliver your message to the right audiences across thousands of blogs, forums, and other content-rich sites. PostRelease complements your display and other online advertising strategies by enabling you to tell a deeper story about your brand, product, or service. The average performance for PostRelease sponsored content is 5 – 10 times higher than the typical performance of banner ads. That’s because your sponsored content is inserted directly into the content well of relevant sites, rather than in designated display ad space. Instead of trying to distract your audience, you’ll be engaging them with relevant content.

  2. What will my content look like?

The look of your sponsored content is formatted to match each forum, blog, or content site on which it appears. Your logo and website links appear with your content, as well as sharing links for Facebook, Twitter, and other social media websites. Optionally, you can include an email reply link so that your audience can provide direct feedback. To ensure compliance with transparency rules, your content will be marked as sponsored content and your brand or product will be listed as its author.

  3. What should I include in as content?

Remember, you are creating content with the goal to add value to the audiences that you are reaching. Examples of good content include: viral videos, how-to information, special offers, or product demonstrations.

Whatever your message, make sure it’s interesting to your intended audience and that your content has an editorial tone. Speak factually and back up any claims with proof. Avoid marketing terms such as "Act fast!" and "The best that money can buy!" Remember, you’re providing content, not writing an ad. Present something that people will want to see or read.

  4. Will people know that the content is sponsored?

Yes, each post is clearly labeled as PostRelease with this message: "This message is brought to you by PostRelease®. Publication is a partner site in the PostRelease network." Your logo is shown with each content placement and your brand or product will be listed as its author.

  5. Can people reply to or comment on posts?

No. Users cannot comment on your content. Allowing comments can be counterproductive and creates a situation where dozens or even hundreds of different conversations would have to be managed. A more efficient way to obtain user feedback is to include an email reply link within your article.

  6. What is the pricing for PostRelease?

All pricing is calculated on a CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) basis. Impressions are the number of times your subject line or article brief appear. The CPM depends on the size of the campaign.

Because all content is contextually matched and your content is inserted directly into the content well, the average campaign performance can be 5 – 10 times greater than display ads on the same websites.

This pricing includes the ability to include embedded video, images, text, social sharing, and multiple links within your content.

You can set your daily and campaign budgets and specify the amount of time that you spend. Although it's content, we can cap the number of daily impressions that are delivered.

The PostRelease platform will auto-optimize your ad spend based on click rates (the ratio of impressions to clicks). The PostRelease platform shifts your media spend to wherever you get your best cost/response ratio.
